About this property

Welcome to Hotel Las Brisas Acapulco

Hotel Las Brisas Acapulco is a hillside retreat spanning 16 hectares of lush gardens, offering panoramic views over Santa Lucia Bay. Its charming, classic style combines spacious rooms with the option of private pools in select accommodations. While the property reflects a historic character, some guests have noted signs of aging and suggest that updates could enhance the overall experience, particularly in pool maintenance and room amenities.

Facilities include multiple dining options such as the well-reviewed Restaurante Bellavista Las Brisas Acapulco, a spa, fitness center, outdoor pools, and a beach club featuring a saltwater pool ideal for snorkeling. Complimentary breakfast and room service add convenience, and the hotel supports pet-friendly stays, family visits, and business travelers with its range of services including free Wi-Fi, a business center, and airport shuttle. Though the beach club’s service hours and offerings have received mixed comments, the property’s setting remains a strong draw.

Positioned on a hill just 2 kilometers from the nearest beach and about 12 kilometers from La Quebrada cliff diving, the location balances tranquility with access to local attractions. Nearby points of interest such as La Roqueta and Icacos Beach offer additional recreational options, while Acapulco International Airport is approximately a 26-minute drive away.

Guests who appreciate a hotel with character, history, and scenic views tend to find Hotel Las Brisas Acapulco rewarding. The attentive, courteous staff and peaceful environment make it suitable for visitors seeking relaxation and a taste of Acapulco’s classic resort atmosphere, though travelers looking for modern upscale finishes may find the property in need of some updates.

Although an amazing hotel with great staff, the age is starting to show in the rooms. Simple upgrades would make this a top destination with an amazing view of El Puerto y Bahia de Santa Lucia. Our private pool had more than enough tiles lose at the bottom that it can cause injury. I know maintenance is tough on small tile pools but necessary. Take the opportunity to modernize and offer infinity edge pools, perhaps a hot tub for those areas with space outside. Unsure if there is an ant problem in other rooms but mine had ants everywhere. My luggage, the recently made bed, and towels. They didnt seem to bite so we didnt mind a quick sweep with the towel to get rid of them. However nightime tickles may not be what one expects as a service at las brisas but you might get a courtesy one!. Please upgrade to actual mini fridges, with control temp. My wine fridge gets colder than this, so dont expect to keep your water or wine at optimum temps. The morning coffee can be stronger, and perhaps offer a local bean that is available for purchase. I know I would have taken some, but I love that is complementary, and comes with baked goodies that taste fresh and locally made. It made the mornings magical. See if you can catch the parrots flying by!... the Beach Club was great too, although pricey in the drinks, id say they're reasonable. We had a bottle of the champagne i forgot the name, but was the cheaper option when compared to the glass serving, the Tamarindo margaritas en las rocas ufff, excellent!. My only complaint was the rental for aquatic items. The lady there can be a bit meh. Didn't offer anti fog spray for the snorkeling mask and said she had ran out, but didnt offer a solution like getting more. Otherwise the food was great even when asked if the dish could be made spicier, the servers and chefs delivered.

It was worth it coming all the way to Acapulco just for Las Brisas. Unbelievable views and extremely kind staff I recommend sitting outside or doing some yoga at sunset and feeling las brisas, so peaceful and relaxing.

Dated hotel. Needs some upgrades. Only Room left was one with a private pool. Quite a treat but pool needed some work. Otherwise, enjoyable and a nice treat to have coffee delivered automatically to room with a few s With breads to look out onto view from private pool area. Spent 3 nights as we attended a wedding at the hotel. Good food and outstanidg diinner on terrace for wedding. Must say the sunday brunch was not close to being worth 550 pesos per person. Definitely paying for the view. I would not recommend sunday brinch

My wife and I just spent five wonderful days at Las Brisas Acapulco—our second visit and our first since the hurricanes. Despite being an older hotel, it absolutely holds its weight against newer resorts. What sets it apart is its undeniable charm, rich history, and the unbeatable panoramic views of the bay. There’s just something special about this place that makes it feel like home every time we visit. The food is consistently amazing, from flavorful local dishes to perfectly prepared classics. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and the entire property feels incredibly safe and well-maintained. The service remains top-notch, and we were happy to see that the hotel has retained its warm and welcoming atmosphere. While we love spending time at Las Brisas, we always recommend exploring some of Acapulco’s hidden gems—there’s so much to experience beyond the resort. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable stay with history, charm, and world-class views, Las Brisas is the perfect place. We’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a splendid stay at Las Brisas back in February 2025 but still talk about how wonderful the experience was! Such terrific memories. The service was absolutely top notch, especially the lead concierge with whom I shared a name, Rogelio. He was an amazing source of information and went above and beyond to make sure everything was top notch. The casita was ideally situated for perfect views and beautifully appointed. The beach club was stylish and served wonderful food and drinks. The whole place was full of character and charm and boy, if those walls could talk! There cannot be a better place to experience the magic of Acapulco!

Beautiful location, views, rooms, facilities (including tennis courts). Service was excellent. Couldn't wait to pick up our free breakfast delivered to the room in the mornings. The best place to celebrate a honeymoon

A charming, classic hotel with incredible views This is a beautiful classic–historic hotel, very well maintained and full of character. Since it’s built right on the hillside, every single room has a stunning view of the bay. The rooms are spacious, even the most affordable ones, and each group of two or three “casitas” shares a small semi-private pool, which is a great touch. Every morning they leave complimentary sweet bread and coffee in little compartments by your door — such a cozy detail. The beach club is gorgeous and recently renovated. It has a natural saltwater pool filled with tons of fish, perfect for really good snorkeling, plus a freshwater pool with fantastic views. I found the value for money to be excellent overall. The location is super practical — right between Diamante and Condesa — and the 12pm checkout time is a big plus. Cons: The only thing I didn’t love was the beach club schedule. It’s open from 10am–5pm, and the bar/restaurant doesn’t start serving until noon. Before that, it’s impossible to get even a coffee or a glass of water down there, which can be inconvenient.
